ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE FIRE ISLAND PINES FIRE DISTRICT
JULY 12, 2022

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Annual Election of the Fire Island Pines Fire District will take place on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, between the hours of 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM at the Fire Island Pines Firehouse, located at 34 Fire Island Boulevard, for the purpose of electing a Commissioner for a five-year term commencing on January 1, 2023, and ending on December 31, 2027.

Anyone wishing to be a candidate for the District Office of Commissioner should file their name and interest with the Secretary of the Fire District at the Fire District Office, 34 Fire Island Boulevard, or by e-mail to DistrictSecretary@fipfd.org, no later than July 8, 2022 at 6 PM. The filing must contain the name and address of the candidate (the candidate’s legal residence, not a P.O. Box) and must be signed by the candidate.

All residents of the FIP Fire District duly registered with the Suffolk County Board of Elections as of June 20, 2022, will be eligible to vote.

Please be advised that the Board of Elections of the Fire District will meet on July 12, 2022, at 3 P.M. at the Fire Island Pines Firehouse for the purpose of preparing the rolls of the registered voters of the Fire District.
